life is good...
been realy busy with work so I havent had alot of comp time....figured it was time to check in and say hi.
work is great but when I get home all I feel like doing is veging till bed. well this last couple weeks thats all its been work and bed. got sick prety quick after starting work so all I wanted to do was sleep. I feel much beter now the cold seems to have wained with me not the much worse for it. it was acualy quite mild usualy me bing sick leads to sinus infections and such. I guess staying druged for work helped me to be less sick.
work rocks though I still have had no training for my job so I have been getting payed alot to stock shelves in the store. I was suposed to get some training this week but thats not happening so they said maybe next week. lol thats ok with me you pay me alot to do a simple job. I love stocking its fun and its helping me learn where everything is in the store. costomers are great and I havent had one yet that left me unsatisfied. I love costomer service so its a great place for me to work. Im realy happy with the people I work with they are all realy great. one of my asistant managers is a kick and a half. he is a very silly man and is always making jokes and keeping all of us silly. most of the people I work with are female. we far out number the 4 guys there.
Im looking forward to tomorow. I get payed!!! yay my first pay check. it should be a nice one too. Im going to open my own bank account after work. its been sucky not having a way to have easy access to money. having my own debit card is going to rock...no more asking to borow someone elses in the house when I need to put gass in the car or make purchases. ok having beter controle of my own money is going to rock too. its been so long since Ive had a bank account its going to be great to get back to it. that and opening a bank account is going to be a real showing of the controle of my work life again. Im acualy being productive and making money real money.
been gathering xmas gifts for people. Im starting to run out of places to stash them. the bookshelf in the hall has all the kids stuff my bookshelves in here are getting full. it feels good to acualy see that Im doing well enough to acualy be collecting xmas gifts for people. Ive had to tell granny not to buy any more gifts for my kids. she tends to go crazy with it. she thinks they should have all this stuff. Im more into getting them things that mean something other than just getting them alot of things they will forget about in a month. Im still trying to figure out what to get one of the kids here. he is a tough one... what do 14 yr olds want for xmas? he doesnt have a clue. getting gifts for spoiled kids is hard. I have gifts for gramps already. the cross stitch Im doing for him is almost done. it looks awesome and I think he will realy like it. Im still working on something for granny. she says to get her booze but thats just not me. and I can always fall back on it if I have to. I know what Im going to get Starroge. Im going to have to put an order for it soon. thats next pay check. I have stuff for Kylara and Trav and Shel. the neighbors and people at work. all in all I think Im about done with xmas.
next month Im going to get tickets to go see the trans-siberian orchestra. I realy wanted to see them last year but I just didnt have the $$$ for tickets. this year is different si Im going to get tickets and go.
