today...
today was a great day. I didnt do much realy but it was good non the less. got up feeling ok but after a couple hours my sinuses started on the fritz again. after taking some drugs and resting some i was up and so pleased with life. I love days like that. when no mater what happens every thing is great.
I got up from my rest and J wasnt in the house so I ventured outside to look for him. he was out cleaning out the AC unit. it was so icky it had about an inch of yucky wet nasty stuff in the botom of it. the water wasnt draining out of it so it was just sitting in the botom of the unit growing all kinds of funky stuff. after about an hour of the power washer and a few holes drilled by gramps the AC unit was clean and draining again.
we were outside for quite a wile playing with the power washer and cleaning the deck railing and house. it started to sprinkle just as I was coming to the last of the rail. we move some stuff out of the rain and went inside. not long after going in it started raining. it was a light California rain very unlike Texas. well as Ive been told befor 'if you dont like the weather wait 15 min'. it sure did change it was pooring and storming like crazy. lightnin and thunder right on top of us. it was awesome. well I thought so but Raiden was defenetly not pleased hehe. poor thing was scard to death.
the rain calmed down and we went oout to dinner with J's uncle and cousins. it was very nice. I love family meals. on the way home one of the kids says 'Im going swimming when we get home.' my thought was your crazy its been raining most of the day. ....so when we got home we went swimming. I expected it to be cold but the water was very plesant. we stayed out in the pool for a long time exercising and playing. it was great fun and Im realy glad I decided to go so the kids could swim.
wile we were in the pool there were bats out flying around catching there dinner. I love bats. and watching them is a blast. the kids didnt know there were bats here. now they do cause I was all about pointing them out. it would be great if the little buggers would move into the bat house we bought for them. the more bats the beter Texas has alot of bugs!
my back has finaly decided to peel. its been long enough sinceI toasted it hehe. I just hope that it peals lightly so I dont end up with blotchy tan.
Im hoping to get my sinusesunder controle befor my trip in the 26th. my nose is being realy off though. my nose is dry not runny but my sinuses on my right side are just all messed up. it hurts to touch my face they are so iritated. Im hoping that with netty pot (nasal irigation) and drugs the problem will be all cleard up befor I get on the plane.
nine more days...its hard for it to be so close but so far away. Im looking forward to going and seeing my family. Im also looking forward to going to the zoo next week with S and her kids. I hope our plans dont fall through and it al works out. Ive never seen mantities (manaties) befor. and experiencing new things is always beter with good friends and there kids. zoos are never fun without kids.
